Brett Jolley has joined the Stockton law firm of Herum Crabtree Brown as an associate attorney. Jolley holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he received Dean's Honors, and a law degree from University of Pacific's McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. He passed the bar examination in July. Prior to joining the Stockton firm, Jolley worked for the California Integrated Waste and Management Board legal office; the California Resources Agency, where he was involved in the 1998 CEQA guideline revisions; and for former Senator Patrick Johnston, D-Stockton.
Jolley is the author of "California Water Law and Policy" and co-author of "CEQA Interactive Process Flow Chart." He will practice land-use planning, real estate, water and environmental law. Jolley grew up in Amador County and is the son of Jerry and Peggy Jolley of Jackson. His wife, Jennifer, is an associate planner with San Joaquin County.
