Mary E. Varni joined Herum Crabtree as a paralegal in 2008, after beginning her career at the distinguished law offices of Damrell, Nelson, Schrimp, Pallios, Pacher & Silva in 2002. Her experience involves a broad range of legal issues, including unfair business practices, business dissolutions, product defects, breach of contract, eminent domain, trademark infringement and employment discrimination.
Ms. Varni grew up in Turlock, California and graduated from Turlock High School. She went on to earn a Paralegal Certificate in 2002, and an Associate of Arts at Modesto Junior College in 2005. She continued her education at California State University Stanislaus where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Philosophy minor. While at California State University Stanislaus, she was placed on the Dean's List and awarded the Tom Foster Memorial Scholarship. During her junior year, Ms. Varni became a member of the Economics Association and was also admitted into Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE), International Honor Society for Economics.
